Take flannel for example. In the fall, of the year you just can’t beat the feel and comfort of soft, warm, snuggly cotton flannel. And it gets better and softer the more it is washed. Add a cup of Chia Tea and wow, this girl is blissful!
Flannel Jammies
I’m a huge fan of flannel pajama’s AKA “jammies”. Let’s face it. When winter is here I can’t get home fast enough to jump into the warm hug of flannel. Thankfully, my hubby is a fan. After all what’s better to snuggle in?
Little Boys in Flannel
And how can you not love flannel on little boys? Flannel, jeans and boots are just part of the fun in dressing boys. My grandsons are rough and tumble so, this fabric is perfect for everyday wear. Besides, it can sure bring a smile to my face! Finding the joy, in the little things.
This past Christmas, we had our final matching Christmas Carter’s Brand PJ’s holiday. The sizing just isn’t going to work for this coming Christmas. Darn! The Santa jammies were “cute”….the boy’s don’t really get into my “cute” description. However, the Santa’s were on a field of green flannel. Makes for great pictures and memories not to mention, a content grandmother.
Of course, flannel is also fun during the fall. What’s not to love about fall festivals and scarecrows? Flannel is the fabric of fall too.
Truth be told, the boys enjoy this festive part of our yearly tradition as much as I do. Much like flannel, the love we share keeps us warm and cozy inside. Sure, the hot chocolate has something to do with it.
